Tires & Rubber 2018

14 / 03 / 2018

The 21st edition of the Tires & Rubber International Exhibition will run in the Forum Pavilion of Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow, on 24-27 April 2018.

The trade show routinely brings together the most successful players of the rubber and tire market. This year it welcomes about 140 companies from 16 countries representing manufacturers and suppliers of end products, manufacturing equipment and raw materials, and services which are in demand in this market.

The majority of participants are regular exhibitors at Tires & Rubber who view the show as an effective platform to promote their products and services. This year foreign exhibitors are KraussMaffei Berstorff, Kloeckner DESMA, Troester, Neotronics, Pneuform, VMI Group, etc. Russian participants include Ftorelastomery, Nortex, Euro Chemicals, Yaroslavl-Rezinotekhnika, and many others.

Every year Tires & Rubber is attended by about 5,000 professional visitors from 45 countries on average. All of them testify to the strong interest in the event. According to surveys, more than 90% of them intend to come back next year and would recommend it to their colleagues and partners.

More than 70% of the visitors have purchasing power or influence purchasing decisions. Considerable interest was shown in equipment for rubber goods and tires production. As a result in the recent years the number of exhibitors demonstrating this equipment and raw materials has increased.

This trend shows that the industry is on the rise. It’s not a secret that in the recent years the growth rates of the rubber and tire industries are higher than that of the national industry as a whole. This is facilitated by support from the Russian government which is interested in revamp of the existing production facilities and construction of new ones as well as in development of the export potential of the Russian tire industry.

As usual the show is supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Chemists Union, and NIITEKHIM OAO.

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade is also one of the organizers of the annual conference Rubber: Traditions and Innovations. This event is a respectable platform for a dialogue between industry experts and professionals, representatives of authorities and science about the market, latest trends and prospects.

The trade show will also feature the best product competition. It will have several sectors and nominations. The winners will be awarded diplomas, gifts and a chance to publish an article about their winning products in one of the issues of the Kauchuk i Rezina Journal, which is one of the competition’s organizers.

The information about the competition results and its winners will be published in the Tires & Rubber newsletters and other information materials, and the sectoral mass media which covered the competition running.
