Tires & Rubber 2022 opened at Expocentre Fairgrounds

Tires & Rubber 2022, the 24th International Exhibition for Rubber Goods, Tires, Their Production, Raw Materials and Equipment, which is the main tires and rubber event of the spring, has opened at Expocentre Fairgrounds.

The exhibition runs from April 26 to 29 in Forum Pavilion with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Chemists Union, NIITEKHIM OAO, the Chimvest Scientific and Technical Centre, under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

More than 50 companies from Belarus, China, Germany, Italy, Russia and Switzerland are participating in this year exhibition, including: AlphaTechnologies, ComerioErcoles.p.a, Saspol International, OR.P. STAMPI s.r.l., Textima Export Import GmbH, Wuhan Mould, Amkodor-Elastomer and others, as well as Tula Rubber Plant, Istra, Kolomna Rubber Plant, Ultramol, REP Materials and Technologies, Ftorelastomer, Zinco Chelyabinsk. Products of foreign participants are showcased by their Russian partners.

The product sectors showcase raw materials and auxiliary materials, equipment and tools for the production of rubber products, finished products, packaging and storage solutions, innovative developments and much more. Special attention is given to industry novelties. 

Leading manufacturers and suppliers of tires and rubber products, as well as product consumers, will take part in the exhibition and conference programme events. They will negotiate with new clients, expand business contacts, agree on purchases for the coming year and learn about new market developments and global trends. For most companies, participation in the exhibition is an effective platform to promote their products and services.

Expert professional discussions started at the opening of the 2nd Tires and Rubber International Forum organised by EXPOCENTRE AO. At the plenary session of the forum, prominent industry experts delivered analytical reports on the state and prospects of the Russian tire and rubber industry and state support measures. They also discussed topical issues of foreign trade in tires and rubbers under current conditions, opportunities of trade cooperation with Asian countries, development of tire recycling industry, improving efficiency of Russian enterprises and finding resources for growth.

A significant event of the conference programme will become the Master Class on Foreign Trade in Tires and Rubber Products in the Current Environment. The event is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO in partnership with the Association of Exporters and Importers, ANO Soyuzexpertiza of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The master class will be moderated by Pavel Dolgov, Vice President of the Association of Exporters and Importers. The event will be held in a hybrid format. 

The panel participants will discuss the challenges and risks of 2022, the consequences of the sanctions policy, and possible barrier duties on trade with Western countries. They will discuss various aspects of trade with China, as well as peculiarities of expert examination of the country of origin of goods for export purposes.

The premiere of the conference programme is the Panel on the Life Cycle of Car Tires organised by EXPOCENTRE AO in partnership with the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI). Participants of the event will discuss conditions of use of tires and factors affecting their durability. Technological techniques for the processing of crumb rubber will be assessed, as well as technologies for the use of crumb rubber in materials for transport construction. The panel will be attended by Russian and foreign scientists, manufacturers and consumers of crumb rubber, and representatives of industry associations.
