10th RUSSIAN RUBBER CONFERENCE (International) Rubber’2020: Traditions and Innovation
The 10th Russian Rubber Conference with international participation Rubber' 2020: Traditions and Innovation will take place on April 22–23, 2020.
The annual conference is a keynote event of the programme of the Tires & Rubber International Exhibition for Rubber Goods, Tires, Their Production, Raw Materials and Equipment.
The conference is organised by LLC NIIEMI and MIREA – Russian Technological University.
The conference has been held with support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade since 2016.
The Association of Producers of rubber technical goods (Association Elastomers) joined the ranks of conference organisers several years ago, and Federal State Unitary Enterprise «S.V.Lebedev Institute of Synthetic Rubber» (FSUE «ISR») did so last year.
Rubber: Traditions and Innovation has always been held with the assistance of Expocentre Fairgrounds. FGUP NTC CHIMVEST - started supporting the conference last year.
«Kauchuk i Rezina» magazine provides information support to the conference.
The conference programme is based on proposals of the scientific and technological community, industrial enterprises, consumers, and consulting and analytical centers.
The programme of the 2020 conference will include plenary and thematic reports analysing the current state of affairs and relevant problems of polymer chemistry, tire production and distribution trends, rubber products, special and general-purpose rubbers, and raw materials in Russia and worldwide in the context of substitution of imports, energy saving, environmental protection, and changing consumer needs.
The conference will include a panel on possible diversification of rubber industry raw materials. Participants will discuss the situation in the global market of natural rubber, the possibility of using Russian rubber-bearing plants as a source of raw materials, and economic and environmental aspects of production of natural and synthetic rubber. Dr. of Biology, Prof. B.R. Kuluyev (the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences) has been invited as a panel moderator.
The thematic meeting on economic and environmental aspects of usage of car tires is being prepared in collaboration with the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI). It will be conducted by MADI professors A.A. Solntsev and V.A. Yanchevsky.
The conference will focus on training of industry workforce. There will be a competition for young professionals, which will present a brief defense of their theses at the stand session. A general discussion will follow to decide how to train industry leaders and who – thinkers, managers, or efficient engineers – are needed most of all.
Representatives of Russia’s leading higher educational institutions which teach rubber industry personnel have expressed their wish to participate. These include the Kazan National Research Technological University, the Voronezh State Technical University, the Vyatka State University, and the Volgograd State Technical University. The conference will also be attended by representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, leading research centres of the industry, plants, and foreign companies.
The programme is under development.
Participants wishing to deliver a report or to present their companies, innovation projects, technologies, products and services can submit their application to the conference executive secretary until March 5, 2020.
You can apply for participating in the exhibition without delivering a report until April 15, 2020.
