The 23rd edition of the International Exhibition for Rubber Goods, Tires, Their Production, Raw Materials and Equipment

For over 20 years, Tires & Rubber has been Russia’s main event devoted to production of general and special purpose rubber goods and tires for all types of wheels, retreading and recycling equipment. Here industry professionals learn about market innovations and global trends, find suppliers, generate new business contacts, and agree on purchases for the coming year. 

The show’s product sectors attract attention of CEOs of commercial and state-run companies, self-employed entrepreneurs, and representatives of the construction industry, chemical and oil and gas sectors, automotive, woodworking, textile industries and agriculture.

Tires & Rubber 2021 puts a special focus on environmentally friendly companies: suppliers of equipment for tire recycling and disposal such as Bonus, Piroliz-Ecoprom, Global Printing Systems (Arcon), ZERMA Machinery & Recycling Technology, and recycling services providers such as Dmitrov Rubber Technical Plant, Green Rubber, CHRZ, etc.

Event programme 

The event programme of 2021 will open with the Tires & Rubber Forum, organised by EXPOCENTRE AO jointly with the Association of Exporters and Importers, and the ENERGY Group. The forum’s objective is to help representatives of the tire and rubber industry to identify new points of growth of their business. The programme includes analytical reports on the current state and forecast of the Russian tire and rubber market, foreign trade in tires, rubber goods and rubbers. In addition, the participants will discuss some relevant issues of tire labelling, finding foreign suppliers and buyers, confirming the quality and origin of goods, specifics of equipment import, etc. 

The business networking will be continued by the Panel on the State and Relevant Trends of the Russian Market of Tires and Rubber Products, which is organised by NIITEKHIM OAO, the Russian Chemists Union, and EXPOCENTRE AO. 

The panel will be devoted to the following topics:

1. The Russian tire market: the state and development forecast till 2030. Assessment of the competitive position of Russian manufacturers

2. Realities and prospects of development of the Russian market of synthetic rubbers

3. Main problems of Russian tire manufacturers and ways of solving them in order to reduce dependence on imports

4. New financing and project support opportunities

5. Current state support measures for exporters of tires and rubbers 

The 10th Russian Conference Rubber 2021: Traditions and Innovations will bring together industry professionals on 27–28 April 2021. It is organised by the Association of Developers and Manufacturers of Elastomer Materials and Products (Elastomers Association), the Scientific Research Institute of Elastomeric Materials and Articles (NIIEMI), the Lebedev Institute of Synthetic Rubber, MIREA – the Russian Technological University, and the Kazan National Research Technological University.

More than 80 plenary, section and stand reports and presentations will cover synthetic rubber production by Russian companies in 2018-2020, an overview of the carbon black market in Russia and the world, development of the tire recycling market in Russia via the industry’s union of manufacturers and importers, engineering training for chemical and petrochemical companies, the nanocarbon industry, and other topics. 

The participants will include representatives of Makrohem-R, the Chimvest Scientific and Technical Centre, EcoTyresUnion, MIREA – the Russian Technological University, the Kazan National Research Technological University, the Lebedev Institute of Synthetic Rubber, the Volzhsky Polytechnic Institute, the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, the Spektr Project Centre, the Ufa Federal Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, etc. 

One more important event will be the Panel on the Current Issues in the Development of Human Resources in the Industry. Its speaker is Maria Ivanova, Vice President at the Russian Chemists Union, Vice-Chairman of the Professional Qualifications Board for the Chemical and Biotechnology Sector. The invited participants are representatives of different companies, industry associations and organisations involved in staff training and retraining programmes. 

The event programme also includes a meeting of the Tire Ecology Association and presentations of exhibitors on different topics including recycling and reuse of rubber products.
